Hi Partners,

>From time to time, we've heard from Partners that they want a better way to organize their content and to present it in an even more compelling way for their audiences.

To that end, you may have noticed that July 7th we kicked off two new experiments on the watch and channel pages. If you haven’t tried them yet, or given us feedback, we hope you’ll do both soon. We think these experiments will provide you with additional options for organizing your content that will allow you to sustain and grow your audience.

The first is an updated watch experience, and the second is a new channels page. To learn more visit the YouTube Blog at http://youtube-global.blogspot.com/2011/07/check-out-cosmic-panda-new-experimental.html . These experiments are optional for anyone who wants to test them out.

You can begin exploring the experiments by visiting youtube.com/cosmicpanda.. While we welcome your feedback in response to this email, your feedback will get to us even more quickly through the blue feedback link on the left side of the page. When providing feedback, please note that you are a YouTube Partner in your comments.

We’ll continue to evolve the designs and features based on your--and the community’s--feedback, so we encourage you to remain active participants throughout the coming weeks.

And remember that these experiments are by no means final - that's why they're experiments!

I second the "show things you dont want shown".

It was showing my Favorites and several other Playlists that should have been private, and even after modifying the Playlists to private (as well as making Favorites not shown on my video page) I had to revert out of Cosmic Panda back to the old Youtube format in order for those changes to actually take effect.

And the reason 'Favorites' should be private is because on your Video page, Youtube has decided to put your Favorites above your Playlists. For those of us who dont have the Shows tab enabled this is sort of a problem since you end up advertising other people's videos over your own.

There is a (very tiny) edit button on the video page that lets you delete playlist tabs including your favorites.

It's very early days but I kinda like it. I'm hoping the partner features are smoothed up a little; the off-centering of the videos when an advert is next to it is very jarring.
